Reliable Refrigeration, doing business as “Reliable Heating and Air” and “Reliable” (“Reliable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through reliablenapa.com (the “Site”) and in the course of providing our heating, cooling, and refrigeration services, how we use it, and the choices you have. California residents have additional rights, described in Section 9.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, apply for a job, or schedule service, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, service address, and any details about your home or your request. Job applicants provide the information in their application and résumé.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information through cookies and similar technologies — for example your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and general location. This includes information collected by our analytics and advertising providers (Google and Meta). See Section 7 and our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect payment card numbers through the Site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children (Section 11).
3. How we use your information
We use the information to: respond to your requests and provide quotes; schedule and perform service and communicate with you about it; process employment applications; operate, secure, and improve the Site; measure and improve our marketing and advertising; keep business, warranty, tax, and licensing records; and protect against fraud and misuse.
4. Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we and our authorized messaging platforms may text you about scheduling, arrival windows, quotes, service updates, and occasional follow-up or promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Consenting to texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. The messaging platforms we use are registered for A2P 10DLC business messaging.
Your mobile opt-in and consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. If we help you with financing or use a service provider to send messages on our behalf, that information is used only to provide the service you asked for or the messages you opted into.
5. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers acting on our behalf — for example our website host/CDN, our scheduling, CRM, dispatch, and messaging platforms, our email/communications providers, and our analytics and advertising providers — under obligations to protect the information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners (Google and Meta). As described in Section 7, we use these providers’ technologies, which involve disclosing certain online identifiers and activity to them. Under California law this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — see Section 9 for how to opt out.
- Financing partners, only if you ask us to help you apply, and only the information needed.
- Legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Reliable, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never sell or share your SMS opt-in information (Section 4).
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — to complete and stand behind our work, maintain business and warranty records, and meet legal, tax, and licensing requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it.
7. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising:
- Google — Google Analytics (to understand how the Site is used) and Google Ads (to measure and deliver advertising).
- Meta — the Meta Pixel (to measure and deliver advertising on Meta platforms).
These providers may set cookies and receive information about your visit, including identifiers and pages viewed, and may combine it with data they hold. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies. You can control these technologies through your browser, our cookie controls, and the opt-outs in Section 9. 8. Your privacy choices
- Cookies/tracking: manage through your browser and the Site’s cookie controls.
- Google/Meta advertising: use Google’s Ads Settings and Meta’s ad preferences, and the “Do Not Sell or Share” mechanism in Section 9.
- Marketing emails/texts: unsubscribe from emails, or reply STOP to texts.
9. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know/access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose; delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions; correct inaccurate personal information; and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your information for money, but our use of Google and Meta advertising technologies (Section 7) may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out you can: use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer; broadcast a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, which we treat as a valid opt-out request for that browser; or email hello@reliablenapa.com with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a know/access/delete/correct request, call 707-252-7227 or email hello@reliablenapa.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line; we will verify your request against information we already have. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification. California “Shine the Light”: we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
10. Do Not Track / GPC
The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, for which there is no common standard. Where required by California law, we honor a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale/share (Section 9).
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information; if you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites (a manufacturer, review platform, or financing partner). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date; material changes will be made clear.
